This programme has a special emphasis on the development of theories of historical processes, historiography and the methodology of historical research. During your studies you will experience the riches and challenges of academia not only via frequent meetings with your tutor, but also during the seminars in which staff members and students discuss one another’s research findings.
Positions in research, or in policy-making at government departments and NGOs, positions in international organisations or companies, in journalism, public relations and business services.
A bachelor’s degree in history or a comparable degree with a relevant specialisation. Specialisation-specific knowledge is also required.
