The MSc programme in Chemistry offers you access to cutting-edge research. This research is concentrated in two areas: Chemical Biology and Energy & Sustainability.
Students in the research area Chemical Biology will study fundamental biological and biomedical problems to understand physiological processes at the molecular level. Students in the research area Energy & Sustainability will focus on the development of new sources of sustainable energy and the use of storage of energy or the development of new catalysts.

Positions in academia, or in R&D departments in industry, business, public utility companies, teaching, consultancy and government bodies. Many graduates attain higher management positions.
A BSc in Molecular Science and Technology (MST) from Leiden University and TU Delft or a degree in chemistry from another university or in a related field.
IELTS: minimum 6.5 (minimum 6.0 per component)
TOEFL: internet-based 90 (minimum 20 per component)
