This programme offers thorough training in the methodological and practical skills required to carry out scientific research on human behaviour, with a focus on practical experience. There is the possibility of following courses on Brain and Cognition offered by other Leiden University programmes. You can choose from four specialisations:
The programme prepares students to continue with an academic career and obtain a PhD in Psychology. Alumni also obtain positions where basic or applied psychological research is used to support the development of corporate or public policy. These include research agencies, as well as private firms, municipal, and governmental institutions.
BSc in Psychology with a third-year (400-level) course on the topic chosen, high average grade for coursework (>7.5), superior grade for the bachelor’s thesis (7.5 or above).
IELTS: 6.5 where each separate constituent score must be at least 6.0 or
TOEFL (internet-based): 90, where each separate constituent score must be at least 20.
