In today’s interconnected world, national and international financial markets have far-reaching effects on organisations and individuals around the globe. That is why the financial sector is becoming increasingly regulated, leading to a growing need for specialists who work at the intersection of law and finance. In the Law & Finance programme, you will be specially trained to excel in this global and multidisciplinary field.

Career

The Law & Finance Advanced Studies programme is optimally designed to suit requirements for both national and international professional positions. When you graduate, you will be qualified to work in a wide range of organisations such as financial institutions, such as banks and investment firms, European and national financial supervisory authorities, other governmental and inter-governmental bodies and public administration, law firms, judiciary and arbitration courts, companies and academic and research institutes.

Best preparatory bachelor’s

A full degree in law offering access to legal practice in the country where it was obtained, or an equivalent law degree from a recognised University/Law School or a degree at an equivalent level in another discipline such as economics or business administration, with a sufficient background in law evidenced by, for instance, certificates of courses in law successfully concluded or substantial professional legal experience. Evidence of excellent academic performance by way of an academic transcript.
