This multidisciplinary programme offers ambitious students the opportunity to explore the African continent from a wide range of perspectives: historical, literary, cultural, socio-economical and political. A three-month internship at an organisation of your choice in Africa will give you the chance to gain invaluable cultural and professional experience.

Best preparatory bachelor’s

A bachelor’s degree from a university, equivalent to the level of a Dutch academic bachelor’s degree. Knowledge, understanding and skills comparable to those acquired upon graduating from the Bachelor’s programme in African Language and Cultures at Leiden University.
