This programme offers the possibility of focusing completely on a region, such as the Arabic world, North Africa, Turkey or the Persian world, or on a subject, such as history, political science, religious studies or language and literature studies. Both a regional or interregional approaches are possible.
Positions in the public or private sectors in which advanced research skills are required. This includes editing, education, tourism, journalism or research in commercial or governmental organisations.
A bachelor’s degree which includes knowledge of the fundamentals of Middle Eastern studies and/or area studies, literary studies, linguistics, history and/or social sciences.
