Political Science: International Relations and Organisations

In this programme, you will study cross-border themes from a social science perspective. International Relations and Organisations (IRO) offers a deep dive into political science, international law, conflict resolution, and global governance.

You’ll gain analytical and research skills to understand and address today’s most pressing challenges. The programme combines theoretical insights with a strong focus on current world affairs and the role played by major powers such as the US, China and Russia, and organisations such as the EU, IMF, NATO, the UN and the World Bank. You will also develop academic and professional skills: statistics, research methods, text analysis, and debating. IRO prepares you for a job in for example policy-making, strategic analysis, research and education, management, consultancy, diplomacy, administration and politics.
